Met Ben a few times in The Wag good bloke. The girls were all over him. Underrated band and his vocals as well. Misfit is a great track.

Good style as well. The rolled up 501s , Burlington socks, bass weegan loafers.

Poor ygenies cat would be in double denim and his greasy long hair and Kiss badges. Looser.

I liked them. Did anyone see him on first dates, the bird was horrified when he announced it was him, she had his posters on her wall as a teenager, but heroin and crack had not been kind to him.

I remember having to listen to them and JOHNNY HATES JAZZ as a 12 year old on holidays to Spain with my parents.

Re: Curiosity Killed The Cat (the band)
Saw Ben Volpiere at the Saffron Walden music festival a few years ago. The band split up because of his drugs taking and boozing. He still put on a pretty good show.

Name and Number (not their best track) has been re-mixed and sampled so many times, its probably his main income source

Re: Curiosity Killed The Cat (the band)
This only occurred to be because the cat followed me into the lavatory just now and was moseying around while I was defecating.
The phrase "curiosity killed the cat" crossed my mind, then I got into a YouTube rabbit hole with the not very good 80s pop funksters.

Down To Earth still sounds great to this day. A proper smooth tune.
